Yes, absolutely. Mukta Swadhyaya Peetham (MSP) is the official Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online education institution of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi (established by an Act of Parliament). All programmes offered by MSP are formally recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Distance Education Bureau (DEB) and hold equal status and validity as conventional regular degrees for higher studies, government employment, and teaching examinations (TET/NET/UPSC).
Once your admission fee is verified, your student profile is automatically activated. You can log into our Swadhyaya Vedi (LMS) portal directly from the header navigation or student dashboard. Inside the LMS, you will find structured Self-Learning Materials (e-SLM in PDF format), recorded video lectures by eminent Sanskrit scholars, interactive self-assessment quizzes, and discussion forums for doubt clearing.
In Open Distance Learning (ODL) mode, students receive printed physical Self-Learning Materials (SLM) by post and attend periodic contact classes / counseling sessions at designated Learner Support Centers (LSCs). In Online mode, the entire educational lifecycle—including e-SLM access, virtual interactive lectures, assignments, and online proctored examinations—is conducted 100% digitally without requiring physical center visits.
